The “For Azerbaijan” Charity Organization has launched a training program for a second treatment method as part of the “Increasing Psychological Rehabilitation Opportunities in Azerbaijan” (APRİA) project. It is worth noting that in October of last year, training sessions were organized for 24 psychologists in Cognitive Processing Therapy, one of the two most effective treatment methods for patients diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
This time, training programs have been organized for Written Exposure Therapy, the second treatment method. Seventeen clinical psychologists will participate in hybrid training sessions conducted over two days by Brian P. Marks and Denise M. Sloan. At the end of the training, participants will be tested and will proceed to the next phase—supervision sessions for practical experience and treatment courses.
